In March 2015, Cyclone Olwyn hit Carnarvon leaving behind a trail of destruction with the town declared a natural disaster zone by the Western Australian government.
MKB Industries was established as a result of Cyclone Olwyn's disaster trail in the Gascoyne. Since then, MKB Industries has positioned itself as leaders in regional Western Australia in the areas of demolition and asbestos management.
